about
Central Texas goofball cowpunks unveil the Seventh Seal of the Apocalypse with this “tribute to the rock’n’roll of Canada” -- an unlikely mash-up of Rush, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Triumph, Vancouver’s Subhumans and D.O.A. in a half-baked bid to get Canadian work visas and become upper Saskatchewan’s lowest-paid cover band should the U.S. election go sideways. Wish them luck, God help us all.

A little Saustex ALWAYS hits the spot... particularly loved the unreleased tracks from The Beaumonts and The Hickoids!
I recommend ALL of the Saustex samplers for ANYONE intrigued by ANY of the artists included - the FIRST sampler was only the SECOND Saustex CD that I bought... and I've searched out many more to add to my music collection! - Robert Scott rdscott450

I've been listening to this recording almost nonstop since receiving it. After reading the liner notes from Jeff Smith, I was stunned to find out that this was such a recent release.
The music sounds so classic and timeless, I couldn't believe that it had just been released this year! I've heard many of the songs before, and enjoyed seeing The Hickoids before - and this is a beautiful time capsule.
If you like any of the songs, or the artists, or rock & roll, check it out! - Robert Scott rdscott450
